Craving spring? Try any of these faux stems for a breath of fresh air.

Bring Spring Inside
Is spring finally, fully upon us? The buds on the trees say yes, but that fact that we’ve lived in Chicago for 20 years and we know better than to get ahead of ourselves says no. Even though we know we’re not out of the clear yet, the slightly warmer temperatures have us searching for greenery indoors any way we can get it!
It’s no secret that we love live houseplants, but sometimes, ultra-realistic faux greenery is the right answer. We often use faux greenery in places that don’t get appropriate amounts of light for even shade-dwelling plants. It’s also great in areas where watering is too much of a chore for us to keep consistent. Faux stems and plants also provide a cost-effective way to bring perpetual greenery into a space. While the initial investment in faux greenery can be significant, when compared with buying fresh greens just a handful of times, it can be a net-positive.

Faux Stems to Try
We’ve all seen baaad faux plants and greenery that aren’t fooling anyone. But we dug trough the options from our favorite retailers and curated a list of our favorites.
We have and love the trailing tradescantia (#1), which fools everyone! And Kim snagged several silk poppies (#2) to spread throughout the family + play room. They’re so cheerful and always make us smile! See our picks below, and click on the image or links below to take you to the product. Happy (almost) spring! (Maybe)
