Bring On Spring

Despite the fluke-of-a-weekend warm up, it’s still really flipping cold here in Chicago (too cold for our liking at this time of year) – but that hasn’t kept us from daydreaming of more sunny days, long walks with Jack (sans bubble coats) and after-work drinks on the patio – our patio, your patio, the bar’s patio – any patio, really. To stay positive, I’ve been painting my nails with glitter, thinking bright thoughts (like, literally, bright things), pre-party planning for the sunny months and indulging in a little online shopping, too.

Our brains are a jumble lately, but here’s what’s got us thinking springy thoughts, warm weather and outdoor parties (or in other words, thinking forward!):

With this Midwest weather going up and down (and up and down), we’d give anything to bathe in the sun on a colorful patio. Until then, we’ll be wishing and dreaming; we’re getting good at that, after all.

Spring (err, you know, spring weather), get here! (And stay here!)
