Prep Time 5 minutes
Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 3/4 cup coconut flakes
  • 1/4 cup steel cut or rolled oats
  • 1 banana
  • 3 clementines (or 1 large orange), peeled
  • 3/4 cup pineapple, frozen
  • 1 handful ice, crushed or cubed

Equipment

  • Blender

Method

  1. In a blender, start by pouring in the almond milk and juice
  2. Add in spinach, oats, coconut, oats, banana and clementine
  3. Top with frozen pineapple and ice cubes
  4. Blend on low until combined, work up to high speed and blend at highest speed for 30 seconds
  5. Pour and enjoy!

Notes

This smoothie recipe is best when blended really well. The oats and coconut will add a texture unless they are blended at a high speed for the final step. If you need more liquid for a smoother blend, add an extra splash of juice!
Optional: Try adding a pinch of turmeric or cayenne for a kick!
