The Sorta New Kids

Sweet jeebs, we’ve gone and opened our Etsy shop. Well, actually, we went and opened the shop over two years ago, and then we casually used our account, slowly but surely, to give moolah to other shops. But one day in February, finally, we listed our stuff in our shop – a motley crew of original paintings and prints.

See, we even kind of put it on the blog. Over there, that tab on the left. It’s kind of like our secret spot – I think only one friend may have seen it there, but she cheated because I told her. Bloggy placement is certainly subject to change (on the sidebar? In the Pet Shop?), but we’ve yet to decide (if it moves at all), and we surely couldn’t wait on my indecisiveness to announce, hey, we up and opened!

So while we’re sorta old, we’re also sorta new. And because we’re all whoo we did it!, we want to let our readers be the first to know (because we love ya!) that we’re celebrating with a promo code. Ooh, how official! We’re seriously excited, because y’all know we’re not ones to just casually throw around our exclamation points (!!). So from now until next week, use code SORTANEW10 for 10% off every order. Offer runs through Friday, March 18.

Of course our fourth baby is still The Pet Shop (last only to Jack, Maddie, and Libs), where we continue to produce affordable, totally customizable art of your four-legged kiddos. However, we’ll also offer made-to-order pet portraits through our Etsy shop as time allows.

I love that you’ve opened up an etsy shop. Congrats to that. :) I do have a question though, I noticed your selling 5X5 art prints, are you planning on making those custom-able?ReplyCancel

Hi Amanda, thank you! Because the prints are a reproduction of an original painting, they cannot be customized (such as, no different background colors, etc.). Our specialty is custom pet portraiture, however, you may find an original painting up for sale in the shop as an alternate, more affordable version than a made-to-order piece. We’re also planning on continuing to make paintings on a whim that we’ll put in the shop and will be available to all. Hope this helps!ReplyCancel
