The Bedroom Blahs Resolved: Part 2

After moving our colorful FLOR rug into the office (more on that here), we knew we needed a punch of color to break up all that soft, green paint. After all, we did go with white curtains. And while we love those curtains and all it’s soft, flowy goodness, we were still on the hunt for something to inject a pop of fun. Enter this World Market rug (selection varies by store, so have fun checking out your local Market!). It’s 100% red and white cotton stitching stole my heart, even if it did take some convincing with the hubs. But in the end, even Scott was thrilled with how the crimson color played off the toned down walls, which of course confirms my amazing bargaining powers.

A rug saver helps to keep our new addition from slipping while lending some extra cush. It feels great under the toes, and keeps this girl happy while prepping in the morning. And Jack hasn’t left that spot since we put it in place.

Just joining in now? You can see the bedroom saga from the beginning here and here.

After reading this post I made my first trip to World Market! I’m in love with the store! My husband described it as Trader Joes and Pier 1 combined. Your rug is super cute.ReplyCancel

Oh, Jacquelin! Now you’ll be hooked. Their inventory is constantly rotating, and you just can’t leave without buying a sweet candy treat and a fun bottle of wine. Happy shopping!ReplyCancel

we used to have a world market by my work and then it closed along with pier 1, old navy, and borders!!! poor tri-county. as the retail there declines, strangely enough so does my work motivation. shopping really is good therapy!ReplyCancel
