Six Ounces

I didn’t get that scale I really, really wanted from the Vintage Bazaar (it was the first item we saw, I told Scott we shouldn’t lay our money down so fast, and 10 minutes later it was gone. Oh, Kim, amateur mistake!), but my hard feelings towards myself were redeemed when we snagged this one from a Take 2 Vintage yard sale. (I like it much better, so all’s well.)

After loving their booth at the Bazaar, we picked up a flier boasting their own personal yard sale just a few weeks later – and, dudes, it was in our hood. We merged our sale-picking with Jack’s morning walk, and we left with my new pride and joy. Our office is totally way cooler now.

Sending off your Shop packages got fun (and cuter, too). I print labels and weigh from home, and I’m saving boatloads of time away from those post office lines. And now I can tell you that each little portrait, packaged and ready for shipping, comes in at a whopping 6 ounces. Aw.

This is so cute! I’m glad you posted this, because I’ve been meaning to get a scale that displays ounces, for mailing items from my shop – only now I’m going to scour Etsy for a cute vintage one rather than a boring new one!ReplyCancel
