Puppy Love-Love Cats: Pint for Pups

Happy Friday, all! This weekend – in addition to, fingers crossed, planting some blooms on the patio – we’ll be raising a pint to rescue pups. Of course our ales will taste extra crisp and yummy knowing it’s all for the sake of helping out Puppy Love-Love Cats, a local animal rescue with a no-kill policy. And while we love their mission for obvious reasons, I still didn’t enjoy using the “k” word in the same sentence as “puppy” and “cats,” even if it was prefaced with a “no.” (Did you get all that?)

To top it off, this here duo was honored to donate an original Pit Bull painting to the fundraiser, straight from the Pet Shop. For those of you in the Chicago area, we’d love to see you at the Ukie Village Cleo’s tomorrow night, raising a glass to toast an incredible cause. And if the drink specials, silent auction, and free cover, aren’t enough to get you outta the house, how about some sweet, fuzzy faced bribery?

Thanks for sharing this! I actually hadn’t heard about this one, and since we’re a sucker for dog fundraisers–especially in our neighborhood–we’ll probably stop by. Is this where Jack is from?ReplyCancel

If you stop by, please say hi! We’d love to meet you!

Jack is actually from the Animal Care & Control on the south side, and both kitties are from rescue shelters back home in Cincinnati.ReplyCancel
