Painted: Lilah

My favorite part of painting your pets is hearing all about their little (or not so little) personalities. I know I’ve said this before, but man oh man is it so true. From all their bone digging, noise making and feet warming ways, your pets captivate not only you, but us as well. I’ll read aloud your emails to Scott, and we’ll compare them to our kids and promise each other we will make tiny art of our threesome, too. This, of course, could explain why we had such a soft spot for Miss Lilah.

Does she remind you kinda sorta of our Jack? Aside from her white coat, she’s got the whole floppy-ear-pay-attention-to-me thing that we see in our son. Her beloved treats and cuddle time with Mom and Pops are an important part of her day, just like someone else we know. And while Lilah may not be a fan of cats, we think Jack could show her the ropes and teach her know how to handle their impossible attitudes. Fast friends? We think so.

Thank you to Kate and Lilah’s family for allowing us to share her with all of you!

And for more information on some custom work of your own, check us out at The Pet Shop, a tiny division of this here Yellow Brick Home.
