Oh, Sweet Friday

It’s Friday, all! A very happy one to you. We’ve survived this kamikaze weather week (with too-warm temps in the great midwest reaching the 90s…whaa?), and now we’re ready to enjoy the upcoming Fall weather weekend and a steamy cup of cider. Too early? Never.

And what a week it’s been. The Pet Shop unveiled, basement woes wrapping up, and, oh yeah, Jack learned a new trick. He sits, he stays, he… runs with a bike? Just look at the proud pops.

As one energetic (to put it lightly) pit bull mix, we have to wear him out somehow. And since he’s blissfully curled up on my toes right now (and keeping them darn toasty), I think this seems to be doing the job.

Hahah this is too cute! A few years ago I had a friend that had a huge golden retriever mix that could pull me down the street in roller blades. He loved that work out!ReplyCancel

Such a good idea. I don’t think our dog is coordinated enough for that! We have to walk him 4 times a day to get his energy out of him

We were in the 90s this week too! It looks like we will cool off next week! Thank goodness! Our dog Banner would never be able to keep up with us on a bike.. he can barely keep up walking a mile! Gotta love the lazy beagle..ReplyCancel

Our dogs pull Robert around the block on a skateboard, and I usually bike behind them. We tried biking with them, but they have to be less energetic for that to work, and then they’re too tired to go very far, haha.ReplyCancel
