Welp, with new years come new promises. And I promised myself I would whip that menu bar right into shape, and by golly, I did. Yes, I’m that much of a blog-o-nerd that my goal was to clean house in our little piece of the web. After we got our fresh, new look, it only seemed right to go the extra mile. A spruce here and there, and we’ve got a clean little bar up there.
While you’ve seen our “stuff” and even a glimpse into our one-year-anniversary extravaganza, our faces are rarely even a blip on the YBH radar. Sure, you may have seen a hand here and there (and surely you’ve met Jack?), but truth be told, we really do exist. See?
With the sprucing came more information, all within fingertips reach. Under “The Digs,” (city talk, folks. word.) we give you permission to peep into our home whenever your heart desires, and we won’t even mind. As we continually change things up, we vow to keep it updated, cross our hearts. Well, okay, we just got a new lamp, but big changes will mean new-photo-upload updates. Promise.
And since our hands crave a nice, paint doused roller to spruce up those walls, we figured it was time to start chronicling our little makeovers. Click on “Portfolio,” and you’ll see our before and afters.
And if you’re reminscing about the days of browsing categories and archives, don’t worry, it’s still here. Just scroll down to the very bottom of any page, and you can select any month and category, or you can simply use the search bar to pinpoint what you had in mind. So along with a new year comes a new look, a new menu bar, and couple new pictures of our mugs out there for the world to see. Shwew. Okay, on to the next project.
KIM – I LOVE the website! Your place is fabulous. I told my husband it makes me want to downsize. Seriously. Great color. Wonderful placement of furniture. Very fun, very cozy, warm and inviting. Good job.
I also enjoyed your anniversary trip to Nashville. I’ve never been there and it made me want to go. My wedding anniversary is November 10th and you don’t hear of many people getting married in November – sort of an odd month to tie the knot. While you and Scott were celebrating your first anniversary – my husband, Michael, and I were celebrating our 25th! We celebrated by spending a couple of days in Door County, WI. With two kids in college there isn’t a lot of extra cash for trips! Still had a wonderful time.
