Giveaway: FLOR

This giveaway is no longer accepting entries. Thank you to all who participated!

Yesterday, we shared the latest living room tweak, our FLOR in Roadside Attraction. Today, we want to spread a little love; it’s Friday, after all! We’ve partnered with those awesome folks at FLOR to give one lucky reader their choice of 30 tiles – that’s the equivalent of an 8’x10′ rug – plus a free design consultation. Sweet, huh?

If you’re new to FLOR, it’s an easy and fun way to create, customize and assemble your own rug. (Plus, you get to play with giant stickers – er, FLORdots.) It’s pretty clear we enjoy them ourselves (having three combinations in our foyer, studio and living room), and we couldn’t be more thrilled to give one to you, too!

The details:

  • Up for grabs: 1 lucky winner will receive 30 tiles of their choice + a design consultation.
  • To enter, Step 1: First, visit FLOR on Facebook and give ’em a like. It’s the first place you’ll find out about those important things, you know, like promo codes!
  • To enter, Step 2: Second, submit your entry by leaving a comment on this post and telling us, where will your FLOR go?
  • For additional entries: Share this giveaway on Facebook or Twitter, then come back and leave a comment letting us know. (One additional comment for each method – up to 2 extra entries!)
  • Giveaway ends: Tuesday, August 21st, 6pm EST
  • Shipping restrictions: US of A and Canada only, please.

The lucky dog winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Wednesday, August 22nd. Good luck and happy entering!

  • Jimmy8.17.12 - 9:07 AM

We need a rug of sorts for our ice-cold tile floor in West Virginia. It’s an odd shaped room, so the standard rectangle never seems to work right. We’ve had the place since 2009, and despite trying many different options we still have yet to find the answer.ReplyCancel

  • Teresa8.17.12 - 9:07 AM

I’ve been looking to get a rug in my office, but I can’t find anything the right size. These FLOR tiles are perfect! I’m in love with the design you picked. It looks amazing.ReplyCancel

  • Mercedes8.17.12 - 9:09 AM

Time to toss our 15 year old, “temporary” carpet solution in the living room.
We pulled-up the brown shag when we moved in, only to find a linoleum carpet tarred down to the middle of the pine flooring. Eek! We’re ready to sand and refinish the floor and would love to add some magic FLOR tiles!ReplyCancel

  • Amanda8.17.12 - 9:17 AM

I love Flor! I’ve had two Flor rugs in my office and right now my cheapo living room rug could really use an update. I have four kitties who have used it as a scratched post. I love that some of Flor’s styles aren’t loops (the cat’s favorite kind of carpet to scratch).ReplyCancel

  • E Davis8.17.12 - 9:17 AM

  • Kristina8.17.12 - 9:23 AM

I just moved to Chicago after selling all my possessions and living two years in Spain so I’m in need of pretty much everything. Seriously. So my future FLOR tiles could pretty much go anywhere but I’m thinking the living room would be a good start. :)ReplyCancel

Having moved from the condo above the yellow brick home, we have some additional square feet and could use additional FLOR tiles! The dining room could definitely use some tile goodness.ReplyCancel

  • Andrea8.17.12 - 10:29 PM

Definitely in my dining room under my table… My floor and table happen to be almost the identical colour of wood, but like… Half a shade apart. Ick. Flor tiles would do wonders to break up the wood upon wood look ;)ReplyCancel

  • sadie8.18.12 - 10:03 AM

I have had my eye on FLOR for a few years now. I love the versatility that tiles have over traditional carpet. I would put them in my living room to add some color.ReplyCancel

  • kelcey8.18.12 - 12:47 PM

Would love me some living room FLOR to pull things togetherReplyCancel

  • Oh boy, I’ve been wanting a FLOR rug for so long. fingers crossed I win! I think I’d put it in my bedroom around my bed. Since my bed frame goes all the way to the floor with a solid piece of wood I always thought a flor rug would be perfect to put around it – to make it look like a huge rug with less tiles!ReplyCancel

  • Medina8.18.12 - 1:10 PM

    I need a dog-friendly rug in the dining room.ReplyCancel

  • Mary K8.18.12 - 3:58 PM

This would be wonderful in the entryway to my living room! It’s an open space that won’t allow for furniture but still begs for filling. Something architectural like this would be perfect!ReplyCancel

  • SEMinegar8.18.12 - 6:07 PM

We live in a bungalow with massive attic space; I’ve converted a section in a sewing/craft room but the floor is still wood and it’s old, dirty and pitted with flaws (shoes mandatory or you’ll get splinters). Flor tiles would be perfect…some great added color as well as a durable surface to protect my tootsies. Right now I can’t even lay a quilt on the floor for basting because the wood is so nasty and old..it looks like an old barn floor.ReplyCancel

  • Elizabeth Croft8.20.12 - 10:09 AM

It’s a real toss-up between the living room where it could be enjoyed by my roommates as well, or in my bedroom which is really more like an art studio with a bed. A bright mismatch design like in the photo would be so inspiring while I’m working! Also, Tweet/facebook posts are going up right now :)ReplyCancel

Our FLOR would certainly go in the living room, we have a high energy pup who tends to spill things and is hard on our floors. Having an easily removable/washable option would be thebomb.com!ReplyCancel

  • Susan M.8.21.12 - 11:19 AM

We’d use the FLOR carpet tiles in our den/mudroom/reading room. It’s an area that needs some fun color on the floor b/c it’s one of the first rooms you see when you walk in the door, but needs to be easy to clean and maintain. I love the versatility these FLOR tiles offer – they’d be perfect!ReplyCancel

  • Susan M.8.21.12 - 11:20 AM
