Back to School

Kim and I received our diplomas from the University of Cincinnati in 2005 and 2004 respectively. Hers in Fine Art Photography, mine in Business Communication. Little did we know that more than half a decade later, we’d be sharpening our pencils once again and heading back to college for some good old continuing education.

Due to some perks at work, Kim and I jumped at the chance to attend an amazing institution here in Chicago. We’ll be easing in slowly, with one class, once a week for a grand total of ONE college credit. However, that one class will apply directly to this here blog. You guessed it; Introduction to Interior Design. Certainly, our new knowledge will help us in fine-tuning our space, and we might just learn a thing or two to hopefully give all of you a little bit of inspiration in fine-tuning yours.

So with that said, we’re excited, nervous and a little unsure of what to expect, but that’s half the fun. At least this time around we’re not living with 5 roommates and scrounging quarters from the couch cushions for keg money every weekend… We’ll keep you posted.

How will you guys survive college without the love and support of the Chicksaw Gang? Good luck! This time around should really be fun!
